About the Role
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Mechanical Engineer. The Lead Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical engineering work. The Lead Mechanical Engineer will also be responsible for project management, including cost estimating, scheduling, and resource planning. The role requires working closely with the project team, clients, and vendors.
Requirements
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (AutoCAD), REVIT and BlueBeam software
Project Management skills
Microsoft Suites proficient (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Ability to work independently and with a team of engineers, clients, and contractors
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college program
Must qualify for licensure in the state of Tennessee. Licensed in multiple states a plus.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification, six (6) or more years of related practical experience required.
Experience in the design of commercial, mixed-use, or industrial projects is preferred
Experience with, and the ability to size HVAC equipment, duct equipment, and utility piping systems and plumbing systems.
